A Balanced Body Educator and Pilates Teacher
Hi! I'm Heidi! I'm passionate about helping people achieve their movement goals through Pilates. With years of experience as a Pilates Teacher and now as a Balanced Body Educator, I am offering my own spin on informative workshops for new Pilates Instructors and seasoned movement teachers alike. My aim is to help new teachers find their teaching style and expand the repertoire of those seeking to learn MORE! We can all learn from one another!

The Pilates Arc is based on the Step Barrel or the Spine Corrector, both created by Joseph Pilates himself, to create strength of the core and mobility of the spine. With the Arc, we’re able to go beyond these concepts to bring more to our practice as well as deepen the movement experience for our clients. Because of its lightweight, durability, and removable step, we’re able to provide a full body experience outside the boundaries of core strength and spinal mobility to our private sessions and group classes.

Whether you're timid about working with the prenatal population or you want to expand your teaching repertoire, this workshop gives you the tools to meet your client where she is at, no matter what stage of pregnancy she is in. I provide you with the tools to create an effective and safe workout through all stages of pregnancy and beyond. You will learn how to adapt to the common challenges pregnancy can bring, as well as empower your client through breath and movement on the Mat, Reformer, Chair, Arc, and Cadillac.

In this shortened version of this Pilates & Pregnancy workshop, we’ll be using Reformer, Mat, & Other Tools. Ideal for trainers who teach only Mat & Reformer Classes. Incorporating prenatal-friendly exercises into a group class can be quite the challenge! This workshop will give you the confidence you’re looking for when your mama-to-be walks in to your studio for a group class.
